"Our Faith Promoting Community and Building Families"
The Center for Reconciliation
& Social Change, Inc.
Our Approach
The founding principles rely on openness, freely assisting within the means of the organization, “For God, so loved the world that He gave His only begotten son. Freely He gave, freely we will give”.
It does not mean that what we do is not without cost. A governing board made up of seven respected church and community leaders have been put in place to ensure the organizational purpose and function will be carried out soundly and within it’s non-profit determination under the 501-c(3) codes.
We will seek public, private and government resources that allow open, frank communication with other nonprofit, private, government agencies that effect social change.
Our goal is to develop programs and tools to share with other faith based and community groups and agencies. These programs will effect children, families and develop organizations that effect them.

Faith Based and Community Organizations
Programs Promoting Organizational Development and Capacity Building
Organizational Development and Capacity Building
Our secondary function is capacity building or development of faith based and community organizations. Helping others accomplish, what we are desired to accomplish. Our definition of capacity is based on what governmental or grant organization uses to qualify organizations to function on their behalf as faith based organization. Foundation, Scope and Reach.
Your organizational muscle, strengths; leadership, skills, culture; meaning how people relate or treat each other and the people they serve. The organizations ability to be accountable, including vision, policies & procedures, personnel, finances procedures.
The organizations ability to carry out the process to fulfill mission; functions, purpose. The transparent act of conducting business; how they do it and the methods used to accomplish it. Is the mission purpose driven, with what benchmarks; indicators to define it’s existence. (Is everyone saying and doing the same things; if so the indicators that point to fulfillment of task.
The organizations aspirations to include fulfillment of its’ objectives. What you become or achieve in X period of time or as a result of your plan; (in our case creating social change). How do you plan to; with what resources and through whom. As applied in a question as to reach; “within your current organizational structure, “If I gave you $1,000,000.00 today, whom in your community (outside of your organization) would it reach?”
We seek to systematically create a plan or series of thoughts by which individuals may cooperatively perform the faith based or community driven processes, which effects social change. Within this systematic approach, we will develop systems and tools that insure or seek a desired outcome; social change. In simple terms; a strategic planning, and preparation for faith and community based organizations with the specific outcome of social change.
Our goal is to develop leaders, audit tools, processes, procedures which faith based and community organization may utilize, analyze and develop the capacity to improve community.
Empowering them to effect social change, in the lives of the people they employ (members) and serve (community).
